AIB Knockout: Salman Khan threatened to ‘roast’ AIB team over Arpita Khan joke
Much has been said about the All India Bakchod’s first ever roast that was conducted live in Mumbai. Titled The AIB Knockout – The Roast of Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, the roast has found many followers. But most Indians, young and old, have found it highly offensive. And among the ones offended are Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor, and that too, for jokes made on their family by the AIB team. The AIB Knockout in Mumbai has been trending for the last few days and garnered unnecessary attention. The live event, filled with cuss words and dirty gestures, has now caught the attention of the Maharashtra government who is about to file a complaint with the Mumbai police. But what you saw was only the edited version of the much hyped roast. The AIB Knockout was allegedly forced to edit out more offensive and vulgar stuff, including jokes made on Salman Khan’s just-married sister Arpita Khan Sharma. Well, since the roast was on Arjun Kapoor, jokes were expected on his family who has some veterans from the industry. There were some gags on Arjun’s father Boney Kapoor and stepmom Sridevi, and also his cousin Sonam Kapoor and uncle Anil Kapoor. Arpita Khan was roasted because she had dated Arjun Kapoor in the past, and it was Salman who urged Arjun to lose weight and enter filmdom. Salman Khan, being the Bhai of Bollywood that he is, apparently threatened to ‘roast’ the AIB team over the Arpita Khan jokes if they didn’t edit it out. We totally support Salman in this stand of his. And if this actually occurred, we wonder where were the b***s of the AIB guys, who got mowed down by a Bollywood superstar and edited out the Arpita jokes! What bothers is even more is that the AIB Knockout roast video was made freely available on YouTube without an adult rating, which they have inserted now after the Maharashtra government objected to the content. Where were the people harping about censorship then? Enjoying the AIB videos?
AIB roast: Police complaint lodged against Bollywood stars for filthy language
Police have initiated an inquiry into a complaint against filmmaker Karan Johar, actor Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, which alleged that the trio had used "filthy and abusive language" on a show. According to the written complaint by Akhilesh Tiwari, in Mumbai, filed at Sakinaka police station today, the trio, along with other performers allegedly passed abusive and offensive remarks against one another and even at the audience during an episode of the AIB Knockout, a comedy show, police said. The episode, which was uploaded on YouTube and other websites last week, has gone viral. In his four-page complaint at Sakinaka police station, Tiwari sought a criminal complaint against Johar, Kapoor and Singh as well as the show organiser, among others. "I have handed over a letter to Sakinaka police demanding a criminal complaint be lodged against these so-called youth icons Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. The show, which can be seen on YouTube and other websites, was extremely abusive and it is not only ruining the clean image of the Indian culture & women, but is also misleading today's youth," said Tiwari. "I sought action against the event organisers and other performers as well, who passed dirty comments with such audacity. The police action would be a deterrent to them so that they would not dare to do such acts publicly in future," he said. Prasanna More, senior inspector at Sakinaka police station, told PTI "we have received the written complaint. We are inquiring into the matter. Once we reach a conclusion, appropriate action would be initiated, if required." The show started off with Karan Johar announcing, "let the filth begin." Other performers had cracked jokes at audience that included actors Deepika Padukone, Sonakshi Sinha and Alia Bhatt, the complaint said. Maharashtra government has ordered an inquiry into the three-part AIB Knockout videos. "Officials of the culture department will examine the videos for the content. If found vulgar, further action will be initiated," cultural affairs minister "Officials of the culture department will examine the videos for the content. If found vulgar, further action will be initiated," cultural affairs minister Vinod Tawde said.

Hackers may be able to sneak into your laptop or smartphone just by analyzing the low-power electronic signals your device emits even when it is not connected to the internet, researchers say.
Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology are now investigating where these information 'leaks' originate so they can help hardware and software designers develop strategies to plug them.
By studying emissions from multiple computers, the researchers have developed a metric for measuring the strength of the leaks — known technically as 'side-channel signal' — to help prioritize security efforts.
"People are focused on security for the internet and on the wireless communication side, but we are concerned with what can be learned from your computer without it intentionally sending anything," said Alenka Zajic, an assistant professor in Georgia Tech's School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
"Even if you have the internet connection disabled, you are still emanating information that somebody could use to attack your computer or smartphone," said Zajic.
Side-channel emissions can be measured several feet away from an operating computer using a variety of spying methods. Electromagnetic emissions can be received using antennas hidden in a briefcase, for instance.
Acoustic emissions — sounds produced by electronic components such as capacitors — can be picked up by microphones hidden beneath tables, researchers said.
Information on power fluctuations, which can help hackers determine what the computer is doing, can be measured by fake battery chargers plugged into power outlets adjacent to a laptop's power converter.
Some signals can be picked up by a simple AM/FM radio, while others require more sophisticated spectrum analyzers.
And computer components such as voltage regulators produce emissions that can carry signals produced elsewhere in the laptop.
As a demonstration, Zajic typed a simulated password on one laptop that was not connected to the internet.
On the other side of a wall, a colleague using another disconnected laptop read the password as it was being typed by intercepting side-channel signals produced by the first laptop's keyboard software, which had been modified to make the characters easier to identify.
"There is nothing added in the code to raise suspicion," said Milos Prvulovic, an associate professor in the Georgia Tech School of Computer Science.
"It looks like a correct, but not terribly efficient version of normal keyboard driver software. And in several applications, such as normal spell-checking, grammar-checking and display-updating, the existing software is sufficient for a successful attack," said Prvulovic.
Currently, there is no mention in the open literature of hackers using side-channel attacks, but the researchers believe it is only a matter of time before that happens.
Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has launched a low-cost TD-LTE smartphone Redmi 2, the successor of Redmi 1S. The smartphone will go on sale on January 15 in China and cost 699 yuan (approximately $110). While Redmi 2 shares a few features with its predecessor, it has a few upgrades apart from the 4G-capability. The new model is powered by the 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, while Redmi 1S comes with the 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset. The front camera gets a resolution bump, from 1.6MP in Redmi 1S to 2MP in Redmi 2. The battery is also slightly beefier at 2,200mAh in the new smartphone, up from 2,000mAh of Redmi 1S. Xiaomi's Redmi 2 smartphone also supports QuickCharge 1.0 technology for faster battery charging. Xiaomi will be preloading the Android 4.4-based MIUI 6.0 software with Redmi 2, while the Redmi 1S runs on the Android 4.3-based MIUI 5.0 custom skin. The new model is thinner (9.2mm) and lighter (134gram) than its predecessor (9.9mm and 158gram). The remaining features of Redmi 2 are same as that of its older sibling, including the 5-inch HD screen with DragonTrail glass, 8GB internal storage, 32GB microSD card, 1GB RAM and connectivity options.

Motorola briefly listed a new variant of the second-generation Moto G smartphone, which features a bigger battery and 4G capability, in Brazil. However, the details of the model have been removed from the website now; there was no word on the pricing of the model at the time it was listed. On the Moto G listing page, the Motorola Brazil website earlier mentioned the 4G LTE capabilities under the headers of storage capacity, dimensions, screen, networks and bands. The website listed that the battery capacity of the 4G model will be 2,390mAh, compared to the 2,070mAh battery of the current model. Below is the screenshot of the listing, courtesy technology website Droid Life: Moto G with a bigger battery and 4G would cater to markets where high-speed mobile internet access is available at the moment. Though 4G is not widely available in India at present, telecom operators like Airtel and Reliance Jio Infocomm are working towards rolling out the mobile network in major cities.
Smartphone manufacturers are also eyeing the 4G rollout in India as the next big thing for the market, with players like Huawei and Lenovo already announcing plans to unveil budget 4G models. Xiaomi has already launched its sub-Rs 10,000 Redmi Note 4G smartphone in the country. Therefore, a Moto G variant with 4G capability will not come as much of a surprise, considering the popularity of the smartphone and the imminent rise of 4G networks in India. The second-generation Moto G is among the best smartphones under Rs 15,000 in the market right now. It has a 5-inch HD display, Android 4.4 operating system, 8GB internal storage, microSD card support up to 32GB, 1GB RAM, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. Connectivity options in the model available in India include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0.
Windows 10 is out for developers and will be available with all newer PCs within next 2 months. Microsoft's Joe Belfiore repeatedly emphasized that this is a very early build without even all the features that have been announced, and that there might be rough spots. We didn't see any problems in the time we had to try it out at Microsoft's San Francisco event, but what's clear is that there is plenty more to come.
Microsoft gave the first look at its Windows 10 operating system on Tuesday, a major release that will span all hardware from PCs to phones and try to address the ills that have dogged Windows 8. The event in San Francisco was aimed mostly at enterprise customers, and Microsoft promised an OS that will be more intuitive for the millions of workers still on Windows 7 and older OSes. Here’s a rundown of some of the key points we learned Tuesday about Windows 10.
About the new 'START'
As expected, the Start menu is the default if you use Windows 10 with a keyboard and mouse, though you can keep the full-screen Start screen if you prefer it. Even on the Start menu, you can pin Live Tiles in multiple sizes on the right, but on the left you also get the familiar list of pinned and recent applications, complete with jump lists for files, the search box that you can also use to run commands and a power button for shutting down or restarting your PC.
The search box has all the Windows 8 features, including results from Bing and the Windows store, and a separate Search menu next to the Start button gives you trending topics directly from Bing, too.
ALT + TAB is outsmarted by Task View button
Using Alt Tab to move between open windows is a keyboard shortcut that's been around since 1990 and it still gives you a line of windows to choose from. As with Windows 8.1, those now include any modern apps you have running, and those now open as windows on the desktop like any other software you're running, ready to be resized or snapped side by side. The new Task View button on the taskbar is there to introduce the idea of moving between windows to the vast majority of Windows users who've never tried Alt Tab.
Snapping does more than the 'two desktop apps getting half the desktop' layout that you get in Windows 8. If you have one narrow window, the second window can take up all the rest of the space, or you can snap four apps, one in each corner. Windows will even show thumbnails of open windows to help you pick the one you want to snap without rearranging everything.
Devices running Win10
Windows 10 will run across an incredibly broad set of devices – from the Internet of Things, to servers in enterprise datacenters worldwide. Some of these devices have 4 inch screens – some have 80 inch screens – and some don’t have screens at all. Some of these devices you hold in your hand, others are ten feet away. Some of these devices you primarily use touch/pen, others mouse/keyboard, others controller/gesture – and some devices can switch between input types.
Actual release
The OS will launch around the middle of next year, after Microsoft’s Build conference. Before that, a select group of “Windows insiders” will receive a “technical preview build” for laptops and desktops on Wednesday this week, followed “soon after” by a preview for servers. Previews of other device categories will follow later.
Charms
Despite rumours, the Charms bar that you get when you swipe the edge of a touchscreen hasn't gone away in Windows 10, but you might not see it when you use the Windows-C keyboard shortcut. If you have a mouse and keyboard and the window that's active is a modern app like the Windows Store, that keyboard shortcut brings up a mini Charms menu hanging off the top left corner of the app instead.
This has the three dots that give you any extra commands, now clearly labelled as App Commands, the Search, Share and Settings charms that are usually on the Charms bar, plus other useful commands like Play, Print and Project, plus the option of running the app Full Screen. If you can't print from the app, the Print charm is on the menu but greyed out.
That makes the Charms less touch friendly but much more mouse friendly when you're controlling an app; which is what you want when you're using a mouse - all the way over to the side of the screen and all the way back isn't efficient with a mouse. When you're controlling Windows - which is what you get when you don't have a modern app selected - having the Charms and settings bar at the side of the screen is fairly logical. And those Charms are staying around (although probably in a different arrangement with a more logical division of what shows up where) because when the Windows team took them out, users at Microsoft complained loudly. That big friendly sidebar for choosing and changing Wi-Fi turns out to be really handy.
Finally
Windows 10 is all about balancing the demands of different users. It's not just business users with desktop PCs and keyboards, versus tablet users. Windows is for sensors and data centres and Windows Phone and Xbox One as well as tablets and laptops and desktop PCs and giant wall screens and all the devices in between (at least in Microsoft's ambitions).
But what we're seeing in this first technical preview release is very much about balancing the heritage of two decades on Windows with the new world of touch, and with making IT teams comfortable with the BYOD and consumerisation features introduced in Windows 8 by giving them more security options and more management.
At the Climax of XP
Win xp was one of my favorite OS and of course will be. Let's see if win10 can fill the blank space created by XP. However win7 had a nice run throughout its life but it's not true about win8/8.1.
Many users are still trying to sort out their problems with win8.1. Let's hope Microsoft presents customers with a better OS.
Anyways thank you for reading my post. If you like the post please share it . I would love to hear for you. Comments section is always open!!!
Feel frustrated every time Apple releases an iOS update and asks you to empty storage space on your iPhone or move data to iCloud? You're not the only one. In fact, a lawsuit has been filed against Apple in a US court (Bay Area federal court), alleging that the Cupertino giant doesn't inform users about the space required by updates, prompting them to move data to iCloud, Apple's freemium cloud storage service.
According to a report by SiliconBeat, the plaintiffs claim that iOS 8 can take up as much as 23.1% of the advertised storage capacity on Apple devices. Apple doesn't disclose the actual storage space the OS takes and peddles the iCloud service to users who have no other option for saving their pictures and videos. The plaintiffs seek damages and changes to Apple policies under California state law. The complaint also mentions that the actual storage capacity offered by Apple iOS devices is not close to the capacity advertised by the tech giant. As per a Forbes report, the complaint claims, "the discrepancy between advertised and available capacity is substantial and beyond any possible reasonable expectation. For the Devices, the shortfall ranges from 18.1-23.1%."
The complaint alleges that Apple reduces the size of the storage allocated to users for storing media while the size used for system resources (inaccessible to users) stays unused.
As per the plaintiffs, Apple "knows, but conceals and fails to disclose in its advertising, marketing or promotional materials," the discrepancy related to storage space. They also allege that Apple offers less storage than advertised, so that it "could sell that capacity on iCloud in a desperate moment." The complaint also mentions iOS 8 being bloated and using a large part of storage space. Apple has not commented on the matter, yet.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni's decision to retire from Tests on Tuesday set the cricketing fraternity abuzz with Sachin Tendulkar leading the tributes for the India captain. Dhoni made the announcement after helping India to a draw against Australia in the third Test at the MCG on Tuesday. (In pics: MS Dhoni's life highlights) Tendulkar, who had retired from international cricket in 2013 after the home series against the West Indies took to Twitter and congratulated Dhoni on a Test career spanning 90 matches - he was captain in 60 of them. "Well done on a wonderful career in test cricket @msdhoni. Always enjoyed playing together. Next target 2015 WC my friend!!" well done on a wonderful career in test cricket @msdhoni. Always enjoyed playing together. Next target 2015 WC my friend!!
— sachin tendulkar (@sachin_rt) December 30, 2014 Tendulkar also told that while Dhoni has many achievements in Tests, leading India to the No. 1 ranking would be the biggest. "He has several achievements both in front and behind the stumps but leading India as the No.1 test side would be the highlight of his test career. Wishing him the very best for the defence of the World Cup in 2015," he said. Suresh Raina, Dhoni's close friend and ally in the limited overs sides for India and Chennai Super Kings, lauded his "valiant captain", while Vinay Kumar tweeted to say Dhoni would be missed in the Test side. Congrats Dhoni bhai on your wonderful journey of test cricket.. You will be surely missed ?? — Vinay Kumar R (@Vinay_Kumar_R) December 30, 2014 Valiant while you led. Valiant in your departure. — Suresh Raina (@ImRaina) December 30, 2014 Dhoni retired as India's most successful Test captain, with 27 wins. He had led the team in 30 Tests at home, winning 21 but managed only six wins from another 30 Tests overseas. There was intense criticism over his tactics in the longest format of the game away from India. Dhoni's form with the bat had dipped as well and his last half-century was a fighting 82 against England at the Oval in August this year. Even as emotional tributes poured in from former and current teammates, veteran India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar said he wasn't surprised by Dhoni's decision, but added he could have played for three more years. (In pics: Dhoni, the 'Superman' of a skipper)
There were reactions also from former Sri Lankan and Pakistani cricketers. Russell Arnond, former Lankan batsman said he was surprised but backed Dhoni's decision to retire. Well done @msdhoni on a wonderful career in test cricket.
BCCI: BCCI while respecting the decision of M S Dhoni to retire from Test Cricket, wishes to thank him for his enormous contribution to Test Cricket and the laurels that he has brought to India.
Box Office Collection: Aamir's 'PK' is Fastest ₹200 Crore Grosser; Beats '3 Idiots' and 'Happy New Year' Lifetime Earning
Aamir Khan-Anushka Sharma starrer "PK" has set another record by surpassing ?200 crore in nine days at the domestic box office and beaten Shah Rukh Khan's "Happy New Year" lifetime record.
"Dhoom 3", also starring Aamir, was the only film until now to have earned over ?200 crore in just nine days and now "PK" has joined the list. "PK", a satire film directed by Rajkumar Hirani, has been doing brisk business during the holidays.
"PK", also called as "Peekay", has also shattered the records of Aamir's first ?200 crore grosser film "3 Idiots" and SRK's "Happy New Year" in just nine days.
The film posted a higher second Friday and Saturday figure, compared to "Dhoom 3". The film minted ?14.44 crore on Friday and approximately ?17 crore on Saturday, taking its overall domestic total to ?214 crore.
"PK" has now become the second highest grossing film of 2014, after Salman Khan's "Kick" and fifth highest grosser of all time.
With Sunday being a holiday, the film is expected to add a huge amount to its pocket. "PK" is set for highest second weekend total, and also it will beat the records of "Kick" and "Chennai Express" if it earns more than ?20 crore on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the marketing and distribution head of Disney India, Amrita Pandey, has said that the film has performed exceptionally well both in India as well as in overseas market.
"PK has performed exceptionally well in India and many international markets, and with each day of its theatrical run, the movie is setting new benchmarks in many countries! Our distribution strategy ensured a wide availability for the movie across countries in all key centres. The film has performed phenomenally well - and is now the highest grossing Hindi film ever in its first week in India, North America, Australia and many more. Most importantly, the movie has seen an unprecedented growth trajectory. The occupancy rates in most theatres all over have been very encouraging. We look forward to a long theatrical run for the movie!," Pande
The film, which received rave reviews, also features Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani and Sanjay Dutt in key roles.
OFDM is a high speed data trancfer method.using this method we can transmit data at a rate of 100gbps.
To overcome the effect of multi path fading problem available in UMTS, LTE uses Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) for the downlink - that is, from the base station to the terminal to transmit the data over many narrow band careers of 180 KHz each instead of spreading one signal over the complete 5MHz career bandwidth ie. OFDM uses a large number of narrow sub-carriers for multi-carrier transmission to carry data.
Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM), is a frequency-division multiplexing (FDM) scheme used as a digital multi-carrier modulation method.
OFDM meets the LTE requirement for spectrum flexibility and enables cost-efficient solutions for very wide carriers with high peak rates. The basic LTE downlink physical resource can be seen as a time-frequency grid, as illustrated in Figure below:
The OFDM symbols are grouped into resource blocks. The resource blocks have a total size of 180kHz in the frequency domain and 0.5ms in the time domain. Each 1ms Transmission Time Interval (TTI) consists of two slots (Tslot)
Each user is allocated a number of so-called resource blocks in the time.frequency grid. The more resource blocks a user gets, and the higher the modulation used in the resource elements, the higher the bit-rate. Which resource blocks and how many the user gets at a given point in time depend on advanced scheduling mechanisms in the frequency and time dimensions.
The scheduling mechanisms in LTE are similar to those used in HSPA, and enable optimal performance for different services in different radio environments
Advantages of OFDM
The primary advantage of OFDM over single-carrier schemes is its ability to cope with severe channel conditions (for example, attenuation of high frequencies in a long copper wire, narrowband interference and frequency-selective fading due to multipath) without complex equalization filters.
Channel equalization is simplified because OFDM may be viewed as using many slowly-modulated narrowband signals rather than one rapidly-modulated wideband signal.
The low symbol rate makes the use of a guard interval between symbols affordable, making it possible to eliminate inter symbol interference (ISI).
This mechanism also facilitates the design of single frequency networks (SFNs), where several adjacent transmitters send the same signal simultaneously at the same frequency, as the signals from multiple distant transmitters may be combined constructively, rather than interfering as would typically occur in a traditional single-carrier system.
Xiaomi is going to surprise the mobile market with its next contender with bigger dimensions and hence being phablet. Redmi note is the full featured Smartphone which is going to knock Indian market till this year end. Another launch being of mi4 is also been scheduled till year end. Sooner or later Xiaomi is going to be the top brands in India. With such smart looking and power contained phones, Xiaomi has put a challenge for other Smartphone manufactures. Xiaomi has also set up 35 service centers across India, including two exclusive Mi service centers in Delhi and Bangalore, to ensure after-sale services for its customers. "We want to expand service centers to six. They will be in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Gurgaon."-Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi's India head of operations, told IANS in an interview. Currently Xiaomi's products are comparable to those already being in market at price range 15000- 26000 and Xiaomi gives the same specs or better in lesser price and in Indian market where price is the prime issue for buyers, Xiaomi seems to have a bright future. So lets quickly do a inside out check-up of Redmi Note and see what it is capable of: Phone: Xiaomi Redmi Note Screen size & Display 5.5 Inch IPS LCD, capacitive touch screen 1280 x 720 pixels Resolution (312 ppi pixel density). Processor Octa-core 1.4/1.7 GHz Cortex-A7 (Mali 450 MP4 GPU) OS MIUI V5 Memory RAM: 2GB Internal:8GB External: up to 32GB Micro SD Card Camera: Rear Camera: 13 MP, 4208 x 3120 pixels, autofocus, LED flash(1080p@30fps) Front Camera: 5MP(720p@30fps) Battery: Standby time: About 2~3 days Non-removable 3100mAh lithium-ion battery Thickness: 9.45mm(~0.37 inch) Connectivity: Dual Sim: yes 2G: GSM 900/1800/1900MHz 3G: WCDMA 900 / 2100MHz Bluetooth:BT3.0HS+BT4.0 Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot So these specs give us a solid reason to buy this smartphone and by comparing it with other devices in same price range it is way of better. Its expected price is shown as 14,000 Rs but I think its going to be more or less around 10,000Rs. Because when we compare it with mi3, note losses the battle. Now Xiaomi itself has increased our expectations by presenting mi3 and redmi. Mi3 was a huge success and so was redmi . Xiaomi Note is an intermidiate version of these both. Comparing with mi3, Note lacks in processing power but with Octa core processor it enhances the parallelism. Note lacks NFC, its display has disappointed us. Why To Buy: Redmi Note is worth to buy if it launches in India with a price of 10,000Rs and if you dont want to pay more than that. Paying 3000Rs more and buying Mi3 is a wise choice. Note comes with a bigger 5.5 inch screen and if "bigger is better" stands right to you then you can go for note. Why Not to buy: It's obvious that there are a very little specs where note stands above of mi3 and upcoming mi4. I personally don't like big display Smartphone because they create trouble in handling and I like the phone which sits perfectly in my palm and pocket. Cpu power of note is lesser in note however being octa-core also it doesn't give you a Snapdragon processor but mediatek. So lets hope that upcoming Xiaomi phones shine in this year end and Diwali. Xiaomi mi4 is going to be launched within some weeks in India and I will give the specs and in and out review on the same as soon as possible.
‘PK’ box office collections success make Rajinikanth’s ‘Lingaa’, ‘Ugly’ run for cover
Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ has become such a hit that its has left this week’s two other releases Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Ugly’ and the Hindi version of the Rajinikanth starrer ‘Lingaa’ running for cover.
With PK having maximum shows in multiplexes and single screens, this week’s release Ugly and the Hindi version of the superstar Rajnikanth starrer Lingaa seems to have started off on a very dull note. The films have opened to a very low occupancy rate; while PK has still been running to packed houses, even in the morning shows. As far as the weekend is concerned, reports suggest that the audience are sure to prefer PK over other releases.
PK’s collections have been awesome with the film collecting Rs 14.44 crore on Friday, leaving hardly any room for other releases. The latest Aamir khan movie has so far made Rs 197.53 crore at the domestic box office.

One of the best ways to make sure your network is as fast and reliable as possible is to use up-to-date hardware. We've gone through the basics of router hardware before, so check out the first lesson of our networking Night School for the full lowdown. The main thing you need to know: Wireless A, B, and G are old and slow, and wireless N will give you the fastest speeds around. Note that you'll need both a wireless N router and a wireless N card in your computer if you want the full speed boost
9. Find the Perfect Spot for Your Router
Routers may be ugly, but that doesn't mean you should hide them behind the TV cabinet. If you want the best signal, you'll need it out in the open, free of any walls and obstructions. Point the antennas vertically, and elevate the router if you can (one reader found that his attic was the perfect spot). Lastly, make sure its in the center of your house, so you have the best coverage possible throughout your home. Photo by Oliver Bruchez.
8 Find the Right Wireless Channel
If you have neighbors, their routers may be interfering with yours and causing the signal to degrade. Wireless routers can operate on a number of different channels, and you want yours on a channel with as little interference as possible. Use a tool like Wi-Fi Stumbler or Wi-Fi Analyzer to find the perfect channel in your house. We have more detailed instructions on how to do that here.
7 Get Rid of Interference from Other Appliances
Other routers aren't the only thing that can cause interference. Cordless phones, microwaves, and other appliances can muck with your signal as well. Buying a dual band router can help with this, but you can also buy cordless phones on other bands too. If you don't want to buy new hardware, you can always try moving your router further away from interfering appliances, too. Photo by looseid.
6. Thwart Wi-Fi Thieves with Better Security
Even if your router has a password, it can be really easy to hack. There are easy ways to find out if someone is stealing your Wi-Fi, but the best thing to do is just lock them out with better security. Using a WPA password is absolutely essential, but even those can be cracked pretty easily—so see our security recommendations here to fully protect your network from prying eyes.
5. Control Bandwidth-Hogging Applications
f someone in your house regularly video chats, plays online games, torrents files, or uses services like Netflix, they may be hogging bandwidth and making the internet slower for everyone else. Luckily, you can use something called Quality of Service—or QoS for short—to reign in those bandwidth hogs. With QoS, you can prioritize certain applications (say, video chat) over others (like video games) so the most important applications get the bandwidth they deserve. For more info, check out our full guide to setting up QoS on your router. Image
4. Increase Wi-Fi Range with DIY Tricks
If your router still won't reach far enough, you can extend its range with simple DIY tricks. Our favorite is the Windsurfer tin foil hack, thougn you can also use an old beer can or a cooking strainer to extend your router's range. The results won't necessarily be mind blowing, but you should be able to eke a bit more distance out of your Wi-Fi network with minimal
3. Boost Your Router's Signal with a Bit of Hacking
Another great way to extend your range is to hack your router and install the DD-WRT firmware. Not only will it give you a ton of great security features and other enhancements, but it gives you the option to boost your transmitting power. This can be dangerous for your router, but most routers can handle an increase up to 70 mW without causing any issues, and you'll be able to access your network from much further away!
2. Turn an Old Router Into a Wi-Fi Repeater
If that still doesn't help, you'll need to get a range extender for your home. They aren't super expensive, but if you don't want to pay for another piece of hardware, you can actually turn an old wireless router into an extender with the aforementioned DD-WRT firmware. Note that you may not be able to get as fast of a connection through your extender, but if you just can't seem to get Wi-Fi on the edge of your house, this'll get the job done on the cheap.
1. Set Your Router to Reboot on a Schedule
If you're one of the many folks that has to reboot their router every so often so it doesn't drop out, there is a solution. You can run a few tests to make sure the problem isn't caused by heat, old firmware, or excess downloading, but an easy way to solve the problem is just automatically reboot it once a day or so. You can do this with DD-WRT or just a regular old outlet timer. When you're done, you shouldn't have to reboot your router so often (which is great if your router's all the way up in the attic)
