Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge
India launch: April
Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge were the biggest launches of MWC 2015. Both Galaxy smartphones sport 5-inch SuperAMOLED displays with 2K (1440x2560p) resolutions, making them the smartphones with the highest pixel density in the market at 576ppi.The phones feature a 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.
The two have 64-bit 2.1GHz octa-core Exynos 7 processor based on 14nm process, 3GB DDR 4 RAM and run on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The smartphones come in 3 variants of internal storage – 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
Lenovo A7000
India launch: March
Unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Lenovo A7000 is the first commercial smartphone to feature Dolby Atmos technology.
It has a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display, is 7.9mm thick and weighs 140gm. The smartphone runs on a 1.5GHz MediaTek octa-core processor. It has an 8MP autofocus camera on the back and a 5MP front-facing camera.
The smartphone features 2GB RAM and has 8GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. A7000 runs the latest version of Google’s Android operating system Lollipop out of the box.
Moto E (2nd Generation)
India launch: March
The Lenovo-owned manufacturer had announced the second-generation Moto E smartphone in two variants — one featuring 4G LTE support, while the other compatible only with 3G networks. It's not clear if the company will bring both versions of the phone in India.
The 3G version of the phone is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, while the 4G-capable variant has a 64-bit quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 chip. Other than this bit and network connectivity support, both of the phones sport almost the same hardware.
The phone sports a 4.5-inch, 540x960p display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It has a 5MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera.
Microsoft Lumia 640
India launch: April
Available in single- as well as dual-sim variants, the new Lumia 640 smartphone has a 5-inch HD screen and runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. The smartphone will come with Windows 8.1 operating system at launch, but will get Windows 10 update later this year.
Compatible with 4G networks, the budget smartphone 8GB internal storage, with microSD card support up to 128GB and features an 8MP and 1MP front camera.

Launched at the Mobile World Congress 2015, Sony Xperia M4 Aqua is a water and dust resistant smartphone. It has a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with HD (720x1280p) resolution.
The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor, has 2GB RAM, and 8GB of internal storage.
Sony Xperia M4 Aqua runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and sports a 13MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a wide-angle 5MP secondary camera for improved selfies
HTC One M9

HTC One (M9) sports a 5-inch Super LCD3 full-HD display (1920x1080p). Powered by a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 64-bit octa-core processor and 3GB RAM, the phone offers 32GB storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards of up to 128GB storage.
It is very similar to its predecessors except that the display panel has thinner bezels and the metal body is now two-tone.
Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, the smartphone sports a 20MP rear camera (BSI, sapphire glass lens) and a 4MP Ultrapixel front camera with super-wide angle lens.
